Digital Marketing Strategist

As a Digital Marketing Strategist (DMS), you will be responsible for all our advertising activities that will drive engagement, leads and revenue for the company. A big part of this role also involves the creation of content such as website landing pages, newsletters and programs. You will craft unique recommendations and solutions and have a deep understanding of the market, industry and business models. The candidate will work closely to strategise and implement with internal and external stakeholders to deliver these results. You will need to be highly-motivated and an independent individual who is able to facilitate and execute projects with high-calibre. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of marketing, product management, analytics and tech, you will tap into the underlying data, align on key metrics/methodologies and generate insights that enable marketers to develop valuable, highly effective programs.

What will I be doing?

  • Drive digital marketing strategies across various digital platforms.
  • Conceptualise and create content for the company’s digital assets including corporate website, emailer/newsletter, digital landing pages, and social media.
  • Be accountable for content marketing initiatives to drive traffic and engagement that converts to sales, leads and customer retention.
  • Collect and analyse user behaviour through journeys analysis, surveys, benchmark studies, server logs and online experiments (A/B testing).
  • Identify and evaluate new marketing opportunities to increase direct traffic and monitor the online presence and rate position of relevant competitors.
  • Liaise between key stakeholders both internally and externally – Assist and work with other teammates on day-to-day output.
  • Manage paid social campaigns including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Tiktok and so on. Monitor results daily and implement optimisations to hit growth KPIs
  • Collaborate with various business units to manage SEO strategies and set measurable goals that demonstrate improvements in marketing efforts.
  • Suggest and implement on-page and off-page optimisation initiatives for website pages (including content and website links for maximum optimisation and search engine rankings)

What is required of me?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 3 years experience with digital ads platforms, with the emphasis in SEO is highly preferred with the ability to demonstrate measurable results from previous work experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in UX/UI design, copywriting, marketing, consulting, and media.
  • Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
  • Enjoy the process of converting leads through the use of various platforms such as website landing pages, engaging copywriting etc…
  • Strong hands-on experience with organic search platforms such Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, other SEO platforms are highly desirable
  • Able to create relevant, engaging and effective content and/or editing for websites, services and programmes pages, meta page descriptions, etc
  • Experience in website design through the use of Wordpress.
  • Project management skills with focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English
